You will not find another rug with this kind of quality and thickness. Only two layers of fabric are equal to the thickness of three layers from the typical fleece at a fabric outlet. This soft and fluffy rug is made out of custom mill organic bamboo fleece that weighs 528 grams per meter squared. It is 20% organic cotton and 80% organic bamboo. The rug is certified organic and also passed a flammability test. There are no feelings of roughness with this material, unlike most bamboo fabrics, because of the stone-washed manufacturing process. The fabric does not contain any harmful substances and will not disperse any toxins in the air once heated.
Care instructions: Machine wash rug on warm and tumble dry on normal to high heat. The fabric is pre-washed prior to sewing, but it could still shrink somewhat when washed.
