Product specifications and component output ratings give some assurance as to the effectiveness of products for sale in the market place. However, real proof that a product is effective requires third party laboratory testing.

In the case of the Breathe Safe™, plasma air purifier various tests have been performed to validate the effectiveness of the product. Even though plasma air purification is being used commercially on a large scale, like in the Los Angeles International airport to eliminate jet fume exhaust from concourses, most people are unfamiliar with how plasma air purification works. Laboratory testing gives potential customers the confidence to make intelligent buying decisions. The customer may not want to understand how plasma destroys harmful substances and micro-organisms but knowing that 86.4% of Volatile Organic Compounds, 99.68% of Particulates and 46.1% of bacteria are neutralized is enough. View the Breathe Safe’s ROHS Test and the CE Test.

Going beyond verification that plasma and the anion air purifying LED light bulbs, known as the ION Brite™, actually neutralize harmful substances and organisms, the output levels of plasma and anions are also verified through laboratory tests. Testing is so important to customers because when shopping and comparing products, output concentrations are compared to determine the best performing product within certain price points.  View the ION Brite testing results at the following links: Bacteria Test, EMC Test, Concentration for Smoke Test, Air Purifying Bulb Test,  ROHS Test, Negative Ionanion Output Test, and Electromagnetic Test.

Fitness for a particular use and test chamber size are also very important when drawing conclusions as we did with the Breathe Safe™. Since founder Eileen Durfee envisioned using the Breathe Safe™ with the Sauna Fix® inside the radiant tent for ion therapy, the test chamber size was purposefully sized just slightly larger than the sauna tent. In a sauna study, participants breathing 20,000 ions per cm3 had twice the sweat volume, increased rectal and skin temperatures, and were just as comfortable as participants who didn’t breathe ions, consequently sweat less, and were cooler. Laboratory test results confirm that participants would inhale 56,000 ions per cm3 when using the Breathe Safe™ in a chamber just slightly larger than the Sauna Fix® radiant tent. Click the following links to view laboratory test results for the Sauna Fix, which has been ROHS, UL, and CE tested: ROHS Test ReportUL Report, and CE Report.

The Tri-Oxy RE-ION is a multi-functioning device that works as both a water ozonator and plasma air purifier.  A smaller version of the ozonator exists as the Tri-Oxy FRESH. Both machines deliver on demand ozone for ozonated drinking water and ozone for cleaning purposes.

These Tri-Oxy machines have also been FCC certified and tested. View the documents at the following links:
